PHILIPPINE SPORTS INSTITUTE EYES 2020 TOKYO OLYMPICS
As the dust settles from the recent Olympic competition, the Philippine Sports Commission is not leaving anything to chance as it gears up to make its mark in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
This time around, the Commission puts its best foot forward for such task as it inaugurates the Philippine Sports Institute (PSI) on 16 January 2017 at the Multi-Purpose Arena (MPA), Philsports Complex (formerly ULTRA) in Pasig City.

The Philippine Sports Commission hosted a Top-Level Consultative Meeting on the Development Plan for Philippine Sports and Set-Up of the Philippine Sports Institute (PSI) last September 1 and 2 at the Century Park Hotel in Manila.

17 top athletes to enter Hall of Fame as PSC celebrates 25th year

The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) will recognize the country’s former top athletes during its silver anniversary on January 25 at the Century Park-Sheraton Hotel in Manila.
During the celebration, PSC Chairman Ricardo Garcia said that awards will be given to 17 former top athletes who will be included in the 2nd batch of athletes elevated to the Philippine Sports Hall of Fame.
